Vietnam Capital Advisors (VCA) and FPT Capital recently announced a strategic partnership aimed at facilitating Vietnamese and Asian investors to invest in the VietThai Frontier Fund (VFF).
The VFF, managed by VCA, is the first private equity fund in Vietnam with a strong focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. The fund aims to support the growth of privately-owned companies in Vietnam and Thailand by providing them with capital and ESG-focused investments.
The VFF will promote sustainable business practices and responsible investing, a trend that is gaining popularity among investors worldwide.
“We believe in the Vietnam and Thailand growth stories. We aim to provide Founders and our Limited Partners with a meaningful option for capital and ESG-focused investments,” said Bao Nguyen, Managing Partner of VCA.
FPT Capital is excited to collaborate with Vietnam Capital Advisors to provide Vietnamese and Asian investors access to the Private Equity asset class, said Nguyet Thu Nguyen, CEO of FPT Capital. “We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with VCA.”
Vietnam Capital Advisors is an HCMC-based private equity firm with a strong track record of acquiring under-resourced companies with the potential for identifiable value creation.
It is also a signatory to the Principles for Investors in Inclusive Finance (PIIF) – a responsible investment framework housed within the PRI initiative for investors focused on expanding access to affordable and responsible financial products and services to those traditionally excluded.
FPT Capital is a fund management company that engages in fund management, portfolio management, and investment consultancy. With an experienced team of specialists in finance and investment, FPT Capital is honored to have two significant shareholders: FPT Corporation, a premier technological development corporation in Vietnam, and SBI Holdings Inc., one of Asia’s most successful venture capital organizations.
This new partnership between VCA and FPT Capital will enable investors to leverage the burgeoning growth of the Vietnamese and Thai economies while emphasizing ESG principles to promote sustainable and responsible investing.
