In the startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia, there remains a significant gap in successful funding between male and female-founded enterprises. The Female Founders in Southeast Asia reported that startups founded or co-founded by women bagged only $4.42 billion in total funding in 2021, accounting for 17.2% of all private capital raised in the region.
The Women Leaders Forum 2023 aims to close this gap by helping women founders recognize biased questions from venture capitalists and arming them with tactical ways to respond.
