As international investment flows continue to grow, Vietnam is attracting increasing attention from investors, businesses, and professionals worldwide. According to Vietnam's National Statistics Office, total registered foreign investment reached US$50.36 billion in the first nine months of 2026, up 76.4% year-on-year.

Alongside these economic developments, the demand for skilled professionals with international experience is becoming an increasingly important consideration. For Vietnamese professionals who have studied or worked abroad, this may be an opportunity to reassess their career prospects back home.

Yet returning to Vietnam is more than a change of workplace. It involves understanding the local market, adapting to corporate cultures, and finding ways to translate international experience into meaningful contributions.

Against this backdrop, Global Talent Salon 2026, themed The Human Capital Opportunity in Vietnam, will take place at Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center in Paris, France, on October 21, and London Business School in London, United Kingdom, on October 24, 2026.

Co-organized by Janus Executive Search & Talent Advisory and Vietcetera, the panel discussion series aims to connect experienced overseas Vietnamese professionals with business leaders, executive recruiters, and professionals currently working in Vietnam.

Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions, the program will offer insights into Vietnam's executive talent market, emerging career opportunities, and firsthand experiences from leaders who have built careers across international markets.

Why Paris and London?

As two of Europe's major centers for business, finance, and education, Paris and London are also home to Vietnamese professionals who have studied, worked, and developed their careers in international environments.

For those who have gained experience abroad, returning to Vietnam may open new career pathways, but it also raises important questions. What capabilities are employers looking for? How can international experience become a competitive advantage? And what should professionals consider before making the move?

Global Talent Salon 2026 creates a space to explore these questions through the perspectives of employers, business leaders, and professionals who have navigated international career transitions.
In Paris, the program will focus on developments in Vietnam's capital markets, demand for executive talent, and firsthand experiences of building and leading businesses in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, at London Business School, discussions will extend to applying UK-based professional experience in Vietnam, the Vietnam International Financial Centre, UK–Vietnam business ties, and emerging opportunities across finance, banking, and technology.

Beyond Vietnamese professionals considering a return home, the program also welcomes international professionals interested in Vietnam and individuals seeking to expand their cross-border professional networks.
