Meta’s ‘Let’s Feast Vietnam’ Debuts On Netflix
Looking for a reality show to binge? There’s a fresh one on Netflix called “Let’s Feast Vietnam.” It’s a journey to explore Vietnam’s culture and its people. This lively show came to life thanks to BHD, Meta, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism all working together to make it happen.
Guiding the contestants is a group of well-known celebrities and influencers who offer commentary along the way. This includes the popular Vietnamese actor, Tran Thanh, Korean singer Hari Won, and supermodels Minh Trieu and Ky Duyen.
A generous prize of VND500 million (approximately $21,000) will be awarded to the team that creates the most outstanding video clips, as chosen by their fellow participants. Another VND300 million ($12,500)will be granted to the pair whose video clips gain the highest views and interaction across social media.
Khoi Le, Meta Vietnam’s country director, highlighted the significance of this endeavor. He mentioned, “Following the success of ‘Proud Vietnam’ and the various programs initiated during the ‘Facebook for Vietnam – #FB4VN’ campaign in 2020, this show is a continuation of Meta’s dedication to fostering international connections in a fresh and effective manner. It contributes to advancing the post-pandemic digital economy, particularly within the tourism sector, while also enhancing Vietnam’s national image as a secure, welcoming, and enticing destination.”
“Let’s Feast Vietnam” first premiered on Danet, an AVOD platform within Vietnam, then expanded its reach to other parts of Asia through Netflix. BHD manages international rights for the show.
