As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a passionate Editor to join our team—someone who thrives on storytelling, generates original ideas, and elevates the quality of our published work.

1. Writing & Editing

• Content Creation: Write and produce compelling original articles in both Vietnamese and English, ensuring relevance, clarity, and impact.

• Editing & Quality Control: Edit and refine contributor-submitted articles, maintaining Vietcetera’s tone, style, and editorial standards.

• Bilingual Storytelling: Ensure seamless translation and adaptation of content between English and Vietnamese while preserving nuance and meaning.

2. Contributor Management

• Maintain Contributor Network: Nurture relationships with freelance writers, guest contributors, and industry experts.

• Content Coordination: Reach out to contributors to commission articles, provide editorial guidance, and ensure alignment with Vietcetera’s content strategy.

• Process Management: Brief contributors on topics, structure, and expectations, then follow up to ensure timely submission and quality adherence.

3. Social Content Development

• Assist in creating social media content for Vietcetera’s and its verticals’ social platforms.

• Work closely with the Marketing team, which will provide guidance on this task.

 4. Content Strategy & Research

• Content Planning: Collaborate with the editorial team to develop content strategies that align with Vietcetera’s mission and audience interests.

• Trend Spotting & Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging topics, and audience preferences to drive fresh, engaging content ideas.

Who you are

• A passionate storyteller with a deep love for writing and content creation, not just in articles but also in curating events, hosting podcasts, and developing newsletters.

• A fast and adaptable writer who can generate high-quality content under tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with strong editing skills, capable of refining articles for clarity, coherence, and impact.

• A strong communicator with experience working with external writers or contributors.

• Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with excellent writing and editing skills in both languages.

• Familiar with digital publishing, SEO best practices, and audience engagement strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong writing and editing skills in English and Vietnamese.

• Experience in translation (English-Vietnamese & Vietnamese-English) is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) is preferred.

• Interest in journalism, media, and content creation.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
