We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Editorial Team Lead to drive our content direction, oversee editorial quality, and manage a team of writers and contributors. This role requires a passionate storyteller, a sharp editor, and a strong leader who can balance creative vision with operational efficiency.
1. Writing, Editing, Publishing & Quality Control
Provide top-level writing and editing, ensuring all published content meets Vietcetera’s editorial standards.
Supervise bilingual content adaptation (EN-VN & VN-EN) to ensure accuracy, nuance, and cultural relevance.
Work closely with SEO specialists to optimize content for search performance without compromising storytelling.
2. Editorial Strategy & Content Development
Define and execute Vietcetera’s editorial strategy, ensuring alignment with audience interests and business goals.
Oversee the production of high-quality, original, and engaging content in both English and Vietnamese.
Guide the team in identifying trending topics, emerging themes, and content opportunities to enhance Vietcetera’s thought leadership.
Ensure consistency in editorial tone, style, and storytelling quality across all platforms.
3. Team Leadership & Contributor Network
Manage and mentor the Editorial Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Oversee content assignments, workflow, and deadlines to ensure smooth operations.
Expand and maintain relationships with freelance writers, industry experts, and guest contributors.
Establish clear editorial guidelines, processes, and best practices to uphold content quality.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, AV, and Vietcetera’s vertical teams to ensure editorial content is well-integrated into broader media strategies.
Advise on high-impact written content for digital and social media channels.
Collaborate with the Business Team to explore monetization opportunities for editorial content.
5. Performance Analysis & Growth
Work closely with the Digital Growth Manager to monitor content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Identify opportunities to expand Vietcetera’s readership, both domestically and internationally.
Continuously refine editorial workflows for efficiency and impact.

A strong editorial leader with a passion for storytelling and digital media.
A creative storyteller with a deep love for content creation—not just in articles, but also in curating events, hosting podcasts, and developing newsletters.
A fast and strategic thinker who can balance creative vision with execution.
An experienced writer and editor, able to shape content that resonates with global and local audiences.
Bilingual in English and Vietnamese, with strong editing skills in both languages.
A natural communicator and mentor, able to inspire and develop a high-performing editorial team.
Familiar with SEO, digital publishing, and audience engagement strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in journalism, media, or content creation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to manage a team of writers and editors, as well as external contributors.
Strong track record in producing and editing high-quality content in both English and Vietnamese.
Experience working in a digital-first media environment with an understanding of audience growth strategies.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools is a plus.
