PSG won the UEFA Champions League 2026 title. For Heineken®, however, the evening was also about the connections created through its “From Fans to Friends” platform. One example was Heineken® FanStation x Vietcetera, which brought together more than 1,000 football fans for a shared viewing experience. Fans arrived with their support for different teams and left with new connections built around a common love for football.

At Nexus Square, cheers followed Arsenal’s opening goal, moments of silence accompanied PSG’s equaliser, and the tension of the penalty shootout kept fans engaged until the final whistle. Yet beyond the result, the evening was also a reminder of how football brings people together.

120 Minutes Of Shared Emotions

With a large LED screen and immersive sound, Nexus Square offered fans a setting to experience the match together. When Kai Havertz put Arsenal ahead in the sixth minute, cheers spread across the venue. Conversations started naturally, glasses were raised, and football became a common language among hundreds of people who had only just met.

In the second half, PSG continued to create pressure and found an equaliser through Ousmane Dembélé in the 64th minute. As the match grew increasingly tense, the atmosphere in the fan zone shifted with every attack and near chance. Fans rose from their seats in anticipation and reacted together to each key moment, turning an individual viewing experience into a shared one.

Despite the sea of red shirts at Heineken® FanStation, it was PSG who ultimately prevailed in the decisive penalty shootout. Arsenal fell just short of lifting the trophy, but at Nexus Square, the evening was never defined solely by the result.

The tension reached its peak during the penalties. Arsenal’s 3–4 defeat was difficult for many supporters to accept, including actor Phương Nam, a lifelong fan who could only watch in disbelief as the final kick found the net. Yet even in disappointment, there was a shared understanding among those in attendance: they had been part of a memorable night of football.

When the final whistle blew, an unexpected scene unfolded. Few people rushed to leave. Conversations continued long after the match had ended. Fans exchanged thoughts on key moments, debated decisions, and reflected on a final that had delivered excitement, tension, and drama until the very end.

Those who had spent the evening together remained for a little longer, sharing stories, offering words of encouragement, and raising a final toast to another unforgettable Champions League season.

Heineken® FanStation: Where Passion Creates New Connections

Football has a unique ability to bring people together. A match that lasts 120 minutes can create a sense of connection that often takes much longer to build elsewhere. Celebrating a goal, holding your breath during a penalty, or reacting to a missed chance are experiences that naturally turn strangers into companions.

Through Heineken® FanStation, Heineken® is doing more than recreating the atmosphere of one of football’s biggest occasions. The platform creates opportunities for people to connect in person, using a shared passion for the game as a starting point for new friendships.

Heineken® FanStation was never just about gathering people to watch football. In keeping with its “From Fans to Friends” platform, the event created opportunities for fans to connect through a shared passion for the game.

This reflects the spirit behind “From Fans to Friends.” The success of Heineken® FanStation is not measured only by the size of the screen or the quality of the viewing experience, but also by the connections that emerge throughout the evening.

It is also part of Heineken®’s long-standing role within the UEFA Champions League. Beyond supporting the tournament as an official sponsor, the brand continues to create experiences that bring people closer together through football.

The UEFA Champions League 2025–2026 season may have come to an end, but the stories created through “From Fans to Friends” are only beginning. Thank you to more than 1,000 fans who joined Heineken® for a memorable night at Heineken® FanStation x Vietcetera. We look forward to welcoming you again at future gatherings, where football continues to create new connections both on and off the pitch.
