Two Styles, One Spirit Of Experimentation

One beer is crafted for light, easy-going moments at the dining table. Another is a stronger expression, with layers of aroma inspired by long-aged whisky. Royal Arctika began its story with two distinctly different products.

Behind the brand is more than 35 years of brewing experience accumulated across Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and Russia. Royal Arctika brings this heritage into two beers from its Polar Signature Collection: Day Chiller 4.7% ABV and Night Strong 6.3% ABV.

Day Chiller is a Light Lager developed with food experiences in mind. The product applies Arctic Frost Effect™, a technology currently undergoing patent registration in Europe, designed to create a refreshing sensation and cleanse the palate between dishes.

If Day Chiller embraces lightness, Night Strong takes an almost opposite approach. This Strong Lager draws inspiration from long-aged whisky, with layered notes reminiscent of whisky, brandy, vanilla, and fermented honey.

One at 4.7%, the other at 6.3%. One designed to complement a meal, the other exploring deeper and bolder flavor profiles. Despite their different directions, both share the same spirit: experimenting with how beer can be created and experienced.

That spirit extends beyond the products themselves.

In 2026, Royal Arctika co-organized Rising Chefs Challenge 2026 with Vietcetera as part of Flavors Vietnam, a platform for young chefs aged 19 to 30 to explore and reinterpret Vietnamese cuisine through their own generation’s perspective.

Joining a culinary platform aligns closely with the direction Royal Arctika is pursuing with Day Chiller: bringing beer closer to food pairing and dining experiences, rather than positioning beer solely as a familiar refreshing beverage.

World Beer Awards And The Search For Outstanding Beers Around The World

These experiments have now earned Royal Arctika a new milestone at the World Beer Awards 2026.

World Beer Awards is part of the World Drinks Awards system, a global competition that selects and recognizes outstanding products across internationally recognized beverage categories.

Introduced by TheDrinksReport.com - an online platform serving beverage industry professionals - World Drinks Awards aims to identify, award, and promote remarkable products to both consumers and the global drinks industry.

Within this system, World Beer Awards focuses specifically on beer. Products are evaluated and awarded according to individual beer styles, allowing different categories of beer to compete within their own groups rather than being ranked in a single overall list.

At the World Beer Awards 2026, both Royal Arctika products received recognition.

Day Chiller 4.7% won a Silver Medal in the Experimental category. Night Strong 6.3% received a Bronze Medal in the same category. According to Royal Arctika, Night Strong also earned another Bronze Medal in the New Launch category, bringing the total achievement to three medals.

Two Beers, Three Medals, And The Meaning Behind “Experimental”

The recognition is notable, but the category itself tells an interesting story. Both Day Chiller and Night Strong were awarded in the Experimental category, a reflection of the different directions Royal Arctika is exploring.

Day Chiller experiments by bringing a Light Lager into a culinary setting, creating a beer designed to complement food and refresh the palate. Night Strong explores a different side of brewing, using richer aromas and flavors inspired by whisky, brandy, vanilla, and fermented honey to create a stronger identity.

Two different styles, two different experiences, but both built around the same idea: experimenting with what beer can become.

With Night Strong also receiving recognition in the New Launch category, the awards mark another step as Royal Arctika continues developing its presence in Vietnam.

For Royal Arctika, the three medals at World Beer Awards 2026 represent more than an achievement. They reflect an ongoing exploration of flavors, occasions, and new ways for people to experience beer.

Because choosing a beer is not only about asking “Which one should I drink?” It can also be about asking: When should I enjoy it? What should I pair it with? And how can the experience become something more?
