YouTube has rapidly expanded as a platform in Vietnam, giving Vietnamese youth an accessible outlet to express themselves and share their experiences. For Vietnamese YouTubers, their posts reach and influence youth who hold common interests, making their roles in Vietnamese society an important responsibility. Few people, however, know that the profession requires intense passion and effort. Creating a YouTube is channel is not as simple as going to work and getting a paycheck every month like other jobs. In addition to these viewership thresholds, content creators must also reach 1,000 subscribers to begin earning revenue.
Although it requires a lot of time and effort to reach this point, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Vietnamese YouTubers are at a dead end.
