voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang introduces “Rhythm by the Bay”, a two-week wellness program created in celebration of Global Wellness Day and International Day of Yoga. As part of the program, the hotel also launched The Show restaurant with “Symphony by the Bay”, a dining experience that combines food, entertainment, and multi-sensory storytelling.
Through a series of wellness activities, creative experiences, yoga, sound meditation, and a special show-dining evening, “Rhythm by the Bay” reflects the hotel’s growing focus on experiences that bring together wellness, culture, dining, and entertainment. The program also offers a more approachable view of wellness, where well-being can be supported through everyday choices, not only through short retreats or holidays.
Ocean-inspired Wellness
In celebration of Global Wellness Day 2026 and its 15th anniversary theme #JoyMagenta, voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang partnered with Rainbow Divers Vietnam (PADI) and EVOLVE to introduce wellness experiences centered around joy.
At the wellness area on Level 05 and the Infini Bleu infinity pool, guests were invited to take part in scuba diving activities, enjoy the water, and reconnect with a sense of freedom through gentle underwater movement. Restorative treatments at the Spa Center also offered guests a relaxing way to recover, unwind, and rebalance.
Together, these activities share a simple idea: wellness can begin with small moments of joy, whether through movement, rest, body care, or connection with nature.
Movement, Breath, And Creativity
One of the highlights of the program was a creative wellness journey led by Henri Hubert, Global Wellness Day Ambassador in Vietnam. The journey brought participants through different touchpoints across the hotel, from the comfort of the guestroom and the gym to music, movement with singer Doan Trang, and a farm-to-table-inspired experience with fresh ingredients.
The program continued with a sunrise yoga session and sound meditation led by Yoga Pod Saigon, set against the view of Nha Trang Bay. In the spirit of International Day of Yoga, the session offered guests a quiet moment to listen to their bodies, connect with nature, and experience wellness as a gentle habit for long-term well-being.
Introducing The Show With “Symphony By The Bay”
As “Rhythm by the Bay” came to a close, voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang introduced The Show, a new restaurant built around the concept of show-dining, where food is paired with live artistic performances. Designed to change with different themes, The Show invites guests into a multi-sensory dining experience where each dish becomes part of a larger story.
Speaking about the idea behind The Show, Justin Malcolm, General Manager of voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang, shared: “From the very beginning, when we envisioned this dining concept, we wanted to create an experience that could only be found at voco™ Scenia Bay Nha Trang. The launch of The Show is therefore a meaningful milestone for us, marking the beginning of our journey to bring guests memorable moments through gastronomy, art, and emotion.”
The launch evening introduced its first chapter, “Symphony by the Bay”, bringing guests into an ocean-inspired world through a blend of music, stage performances, magic, and dining. The restaurant was transformed into a lively stage, with the kitchen also becoming part of the experience.
The seven-course menu was created by Chef Huy Tran, Head Chef of The Show; Chef Sakal Phoeung, President of Disciples Escoffier Vietnam; Chef Pierre Meneau; Chef Galli Gilles; Chef Tsuruhara Shozo; Chef Olivier Genique; and Chef Kiet Huynh, under the guidance of Tracie May in the role of the mermaid guardian of Scenia Bay. Combining French culinary techniques with local flavors, each chef brought a distinct perspective to the menu, together creating a dining story inspired by Nha Trang Bay.
The evening also included the induction ceremony of Disciples Escoffier Vietnam in Nha Trang, adding a meaningful culinary moment to the launch of The Show.
Chef Sakal Phoeung shared: “It is a great pleasure to be in Nha Trang alongside other talented chefs. Traditional French cuisine provides a strong foundation, but it is people and the passion for cooking that truly bring each dish to life. We are here to continue sharing the spirit of the association through training, guidance, and the exchange of culinary techniques and values with the next generation of chefs.”
