What Is Flavors Awards 2026?
Flavors Awards is Vietcetera's annual awards dedicated to recognizing the restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels, chefs, bartenders, brands, and emerging talents that continue to shape Vietnam's evolving food and beverage industry.
Originally launched as the Bánh Mì Awards in 2018, the awards have steadily expanded to acknowledge a broader spectrum of the industry – from beloved dining destinations and outstanding professionals to innovative concepts and business models redefining the future of Vietnamese F&B.
Now entering its sixth edition, Flavors Awards 2026 returns under the theme "Thời Vị – The Flavors of Our Time." Rather than celebrating great food alone, this year's awards recognize the people, places, and stories that define the present moment of Vietnam's culinary culture.
Through the Flavors and Vietcetera ecosystem, the awards also foster meaningful connections within Vietnam's F&B community, creating opportunities for collaboration, growth, and collective progress as the industry continues to evolve.
This year's edition comprises three award systems: Flavors Collection 2026, Vietcetera Editor's Picks, and Flavors Grand Prize 2026. Each represents a different perspective such as: community choice, editorial insight, and professional recognition.
The Flavors Awards 2026 Ceremony, is scheduled to take place on October 1, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together many of Vietnam's most influential figures in the food and beverage industry.
Flavors Collection: The Community's Favorite Destinations
Flavors Collection invites the public to recognize the places that have become an integral part of their culinary journeys.
This year, the Collection features five categories, with the Top 10 most-nominated names in each category forming a nationwide list of 50 outstanding restaurants, venues, and brands loved by the community.

- Most Loved Restaurant
- Most Loved Coffee Shop
- Most Loved Nightlife Spot
- Most Loved Hotel
- Most Loved Hidden Gem
To participate, users simply log in, verify their email, and submit nominations. Each participant may submit up to 10 nominations per day, either across multiple categories or concentrated on their personal favorites.
Public nominations open from July 22 to August 25, 2026, while the official Flavors Collection will be revealed on September 5, 2026.

Flavors Grand Prize: 10 Awards Selected By Industry Experts
While Flavors Collection reflects the voice of the public, the Flavors Grand Prize represents the collective judgment of professionals who actively contribute to Vietnam's F&B industry.
The Grand Prize 2026 features 10 award categories, recognizing outstanding individuals, brands, products, and business concepts created between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026.

- Coffee Shop of the Year
- Nightlife Spot of the Year
- Hotel of the Year
- Chef of the Year
- F&B Concept of the Year

The judging process takes place across two rounds. In the first round, an Insider Group of 15 to 20 industry professionals will select the Top 5 names in each category. The Grand Prize nominees will be revealed on September 17, 2026. In the final round, a 15-member jury will vote live on stage to determine the winners of Flavors Grand Prize 2026.
The final results will be announced at the Flavors Awards 2026 Award Ceremony on October 1, 2026.
Vietcetera Editor's Picks: The Editorial Perspective
Alongside the public vote and the Grand Jury's selections, Vietcetera Editor's Picks presents the editorial perspective of Vietcetera's newsroom, developed in consultation with leading industry experts.
These awards spotlight emerging talents, groundbreaking ideas, and individuals redefining the future of Vietnam's F&B scene.

The Editor's Picks 2026 winners are scheduled to be announced on September 21, 2026.
The Road To Flavors Awards 2026
The journey toward Flavors Awards 2026 officially begins on July 20, marking the launch of this year's edition, followed by the public nomination period, the unveiling of Flavors Collection, and the announcement of the Grand Prize finalists.
The season will conclude on October 1, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City with the Flavors Awards Ceremony, where winners across all three award systems – Flavors Collection, Vietcetera Editor's Picks, and Flavors Grand Prize will be revealed.
The ceremony will bring the F&B community together to celebrate the people, places, and ideas making their mark on “The Flavors of Our Time” and shaping the next chapter of Vietnam’s F&B culture.
