Flavors Vietnam is Vietcetera’s annual F&B platform, created to celebrate the people, places, and ideas shaping Vietnam’s food and drink culture. In 2026, Flavors Vietnam continues its journey with a refreshed identity and a new theme for the season.

Under the theme “Thời Vị” - The Flavors of Our Time, Flavors Vietnam 2026 looks at how every era leaves behind its own flavor. “Thời” speaks to the time, context, and moments that shape a generation, while “vị” refers to taste, identity, essence, and the cultural position that Vietnam’s F&B scene continues to build.

From traditional culinary heritage and new interpretations of food and drink, to the chefs, bartenders, restaurants, bars, and brands defining how we eat and drink today, Flavors Vietnam 2026 invites the community to discover, connect, and shape the next chapter of Vietnam’s F&B culture.

What’s Happening At Flavors Vietnam 2026?

The Flavors Vietnam 2026 journey will unfold through four key activities, bringing together industry professionals, tastemakers, and the wider community of food and drink lovers.

1. Rising Chefs Challenge: July 11 - August 28

Opening Flavors Vietnam 2026 is the Rising Chefs Challenge, a creative platform for young chefs who want to tell their stories through Vietnamese cuisine.

With the themes “The Dish That Made You” and “The Dish That Makes You,” the competition invites contestants to look back at the roots that shaped them, then turn memory, regional identity, and personal vision into new expressions of Vietnamese cuisine.

Contestants will begin with the online application round, officially opening on July 12, before going through the judging process. The selected finalists will then move on to the cook-off round, taking place on August 28 in Ho Chi Minh City.

More than a cooking competition, Rising Chefs Challenge is also a space for young chefs to gain visibility, receive feedback from industry experts, and connect with chefs, restaurants, brands, and the wider F&B community.

Rising Chefs Challenge 2026 is co-organized with Royal Arctika, bringing more experiences to the program and supporting the celebration of Vietnam’s F&B culture.

2. Flavors Awards: October 1

Flavors Awards is an annual event that honors the individuals, restaurants, bars, brands, and destinations making a meaningful mark on Vietnam’s food and beverage industry.

It is also a moment for the F&B community to look back at the people and places helping shape the way we eat, drink, gather, and experience hospitality today.

3. Flavors Conference: October 2

Flavors Conference is a professional gathering for chefs, founders, operators, brands, experts, investors, media, and those interested in the future of Vietnam’s F&B industry.

This year’s conference centers on one key question: What makes guests want to come back? Through conversations around experience, trust, customer loyalty, and changing consumer behavior, Flavors Conference creates space for the industry to exchange ideas and discuss how F&B businesses can build more sustainable value.

4. Flavors Week: September 19 - October 4

Flavors Week is an urban experience series that brings the public closer to bar culture, contemporary drinking, and selected F&B destinations across major cities.

Expected to take place in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Nha Trang, Flavors Week will feature selected venues where guests can explore limited menus, tasting activities, happy hour offerings, group experiences, and moments centered around food, drinks, and city life.
