VPW x The Grand Ho Tram: Leading The Charge For Vietnamese Entertainment

Vietnam Pro Wrestling has announced the “Ho Tram Slam”, a wrestling show taking place Saturday at the Grand Ho Tram Resort. A first for the Ho Chi Minh City-based federation, this special show will feature an extended roster of international wrestling talent, with stars from across Southeast Asia and Oceania like the Natural Classics and Phuong Nam of Saigon Têu.
The event will be hosted in the Grand Ho Tram’s Grand Ballroom, making full use of the facility’s audiovisual technology and capacity to bring VPW to a new scale.
VPW is set for its biggest year yet, with support from WWE superstar Chris Jericho in the form of a documentary releasing later this year bringing international recognition to Vietnam’s fastest growing independent sports entity.
This growth aligns with the recently approved National Target Program on Cultural Development (2025-2035), a government initiative aimed at elevating Vietnam’s cultural presence both domestically and internationally through strategic investment in performing arts, entertainment, and cultural industries.
Founder and wrestler Rocky Huynh, most recently seen headlining VPW’s Spring Slam event in February, has been one of the driving forces of VPW’s growth. He said the following about the announcement of the partnership with The Grand Ho Tram:

The event features a stacked lineup of rising international stars from four continents, including Malaysia’s The Juicy Boyz, Singapore’s Aiden Rex, Chinese-Canadian Sunny Z, the UK’s The British Horror, and Australia’s The Natural Classics—brothers Tome and Stevie Filip, who recently toured with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Japan’s top wrestling promotion.
The show will also spotlight Vietnam’s top homegrown talent, including VPW founder Rocky Huynh, “The Unstoppable Force” Ares, and the country’s most celebrated comedian, Phương Nam of Saigon Tếu, in a special appearance sure to electrify the crowd.
