Flavors Vietnam, an annual F&B series organized by Vietcetera and Mastercard, celebrates the contributions and achievements of Vietnam's F&B industry. This year, Flavors Vietnam collaborated with HOZO (Ho Do), Vietnam's largest community music festival, to deliver a groundbreaking music and food festival.
The event featured captivating performances by over 250 artists and more than 60 F&B booths, offering a wholesome experience for attendees of all ages.
Food, Game, Music – 3 Experiences In 1!
Attendees stepping into the culinary area were greeted by enticing aromas and visually appealing dishes that made the long lines worth the wait.
Attendees began their flavor-filled journey by enjoying a refreshing cup of Phuc Long tea featured right at the entrance.
At the Nam Mê Kitchen & Bar booth, attendees were treated to premium stir-fried corn. The crispy crust encased tender corn kernels, expertly prepared to retain their natural sweetness and enhanced with subtle spices. Meanwhile, at the Downtown Steakhouse booth, a succulent steak melted in their mouths, delivering a symphony of flavors that awakened all the senses.
Of course, the culinary journey didn’t end there. Many other enticing booths from CTY Kitchen + Bar, Đậu Homemade, Mena Gourmet Market, and others created a feast that satisfied both hunger and culinary curiosity.
Guests also enjoyed a variety of entertainment activities, capturing the true spirit of the festival.
The culinary content creation challenge invited participants to design a full course menu, including an appetizer, a main course, a drink, and a dessert—all within a budget of 200,000 VND. Each day, 3 winners were awarded a pair of exclusive SVIP tickets for the HOZO Super Fest 2024 concert.
A special highlight of the event was the promotion of non-cash payments, contributing to a modern and seamless guest experience. Mastercard cardholders could enjoy an exclusive chance to access the Mastercard Lounge—the only air-conditioned area at the festival—with accumulated bills of 200,000 VND.
Moreover, during the 3-day event, the Mastercard Lounge hosted 9 workshops led by 9 different F&B establishments, each offering unique themes.
One such workshop featured the making of the non-alcoholic sparkling water Climb the Mango Tree. The session was led by bartender Grace Trương from Layla & Summer Experiment.
Another highlight was the Mekong Dish Workshop, where Chef Rachel Uyên from Nam Mê Restaurant introduced participants to Laos’ unique culinary world through her dish, Laotian duck larb with piper lolot leaves—a combination of duck meat, fresh piper lolot leaves, and Laotian flavors.
Each workshop invited participants to enjoy the drinks and dishes while unfolding the stories and ideas behind them.
A highlight of the second day was the Flavors Awards 2024—a special event bringing together KOLs and leading F&B experts to honor outstanding individuals and organizations who made significant contributions to Vietnam's culinary community over the past year.
Hozo Super Fest 2024 - A Multi-Cultural Music Party
The next highlight that made the Flavors Vietnam 2024 x HOZO International Food Fest even more explosive was the HOZO Super Fest 2024 stage. 250 artists from all over the world gathered over 3 days to deliver spectacular performances.
The opening day was a great success, featuring performances by Henry Lau—one of the most all-round K-pop artists, HIEUTHUHAI, Thịnh Suy, the dynamic conductor duo Trần Nhật Minh and Lưu Quang Minh with the Saigon Pops Orchestra, Osoko, and N'famady Kouyaté.
The second day kept the audience captivated with performances by Mỹ Tâm, Hoàng Dũng, Vũ Thanh Vân, PSYCHIC FEVER, The Big Day, GRETA, @Anirocks, and A.TRAIN.
The festival concluded with a music night dedicated to rock fans, featuring the Rock Marathon by HOZO. The event brought together legendary names such as Bức Tường, rocker Phạm Anh Khoa, and Hải Bột from the Quái Vật Tí Hon rock band, along with Ngũ Cung Pentatonic, Chillies, MONOCYCLE, and emerging talent like Mủn Gỗ.
